Men’s Walking Group

From the Lake District to the Yorkshire Dales, From Blencathra to Pen-y-Ghent.

A group of up to 12 of us (and up to 4 dogs) walk twice a month – more or less whatever the weather. A mixture of low level strolls, and more challenging fell walks up to 8 miles. Suitable stops for coffee, lunch and inevitably ending near a pub.

As well as the fresh air and exercise, plenty of time for chatting about important things – broadband speed, potholes etc., generally putting the world to rights. But also a great chance for fellowship and getting to know one another better, as well as enjoying the wonderful countryside around us.
Want to come and join us? (and discuss the future of driverless cars!), ring John Arthurs on 015395 35406.
